A super tasty eat in Taos is Michael's Kitchen, recommended to us by a lovely lady at the Taos information center. As we were waking in the door for a late lunch, we overheard a woman say, “and we will be back tomorrow morning for breakfast!” She was so excited, she walked into Victoria. The menu had a huge variety of breakfast and lunch foods, with both American and Spanish sections.
We split the enchiladas with green sauce, but ordered our own sopapillas, which turned out to be a VERY good idea. Sopapillas are little fluffy bread pillows from heaven, that come with honey butter.
The green sauce was amazing. Victoria noted that it was spicy and full of onions. Which is perfect for me, not so much for her. Michael's Kitchen was a great stop. Check out some reviews on Yelp.
